6th International Choral Festival, 29 May to 2 June 2019

Voices of Spirit 2019

The sixth edition moved to spring and brought the British ensemble VOCES8 to Graz as Artists in Residence. It opened with the Long Night of Choirs, some fifty choirs singing across the old town and VOCES8 closing the evening on the Kasematten stage, and ended with the gala MESSIAH in the Stefaniensaal, performed by the festival choirs, the Neue Hofkapelle Graz and VOCES8 under Barnaby Smith.
