3rd International Choral Festival, 17 to 20 November 2016

Voices of Spirit 2016

The third edition opened on 18 November in the Grazer Stadthalle with the Riga girls' choir TIARA, the Grazer Kapellknaben and the Academic Choir Maribor, topped by the four-time Grammy winners Soweto Gospel Choir on their Faith world tour. The next evening brought the world premiere of Lera Auerbach's 72 Angels in the Herz-Jesu-Kirche with the Vocalforum Graz and the Rascher Saxophone Quartet, and the festival closed in the Stefaniensaal with Karl Jenkins' The Armed Man, a Mass for Peace under Michael Hofstetter.
